An Affidavit of Mechanic's Lien must be filed within 60 days of last furnishing labor or materials.

A Notice of Furnishing is required within 21 days of first furnishing labor and/or materials or from the date the Notice of Commencement is filed. You may request a Notice of Commencement by certified mail. The owner is put on notice and is required to send a copy within 10 days. If a Notice of Commencement is not filed the subcontractors and suppliers do not have to give a Notice of Furnishing.
